Edmonton Runway Experience
Our Runway Rendezvous on May 25, 2025 was an absolute dream come true — a magical day filled with style, sparkle, and so much heart! Hosted with elegance and charm by the incredible Maya Ramsahoye, Miss Queen of the World 2024, in the beautiful and historic Studio96 in the heart of Edmonton, the event brought together local talent, incredible community spirit, and unforgettable moments. The show celebrated the growth, confidence, and creativity of our amazing young models.
We were thrilled to welcome Ashley Callingbull, Miss Queen of the Universe 2024, as our very special guest, who came to cheer on and support our local aspiring talent. From the very first walk to the final bow, the energy was filled with pride, excitement, and so many joyful smiles.
Our models walked the runway in not one, but two stylish looks — casual chic from HSKT Kids Store, and the show-stopping ball dresses from Oba’s Closet. Each child got to keep both outfits as a reminder of their special day on the runway. The day wrapped up with a heartwarming Guest Reception, where families, friends, and community members gathered to connect and celebrate over delicious snacks and the most beautiful cake, lovingly provided by Italian Bakery’s TESORO. The treats were a hit, and the room was filled with laughter, cameras flashing, and proud tears — a community celebration of our amazing talent.
We are proud to confirm that part of proceeds from The Podium Academy Runway Rendezvous will be donated to Edmonton Down Syndrome Society. At The Podium Academy, we focus on building confidence, creativity, and skills in every child. Our Runway Event is for all kids, regardless of their abilities!
Huge shout out to the generosity of local businesses and creatives, as we were able to offer incredible Door Prizes, helping create new opportunities for our kids beyond the runway.
We’re already looking ahead! You can check here for upcoming trainings, camps and practices for the rest of 2025 season. And our new learning year and program at The Podium Academy will run January–December 2026, with our next Runway Rendezvous set for January 9–10, 2027!
